Boaz Hayoun – CEO
Boaz Hayoun, a former officer in the Israel Defense Force's Combat Engineering Corps, accumulated vast experience in quarrying and in the use of commercial explosives during his military service. Mr. Hayoun founded Tamar in 1998 with the aim of providing first-class services in the field of explosives to clients in Israel and worldwide. Over the last 15 years he has led the company to meet its initial goals, and to expand into the diverse group of companies that comprise Tamar today, each of which works alone and synergistically with its sister companies to provide an ever-increasing range of offerings to clients in the security and defense industries.

Eng. Shlomo Levin - VP Safety
A former Major Safety Officer at the Israeli Ministry of Labor, Shlomo Levin has accumulated 40 years of experience as a mining engineer. Mr. Levin's areas of expertise include planning, executing and supervising large mining projects in Israel and in Russia. Selected by the Israeli government to participate in drafting the country's historic Explosives Law and Regulations, Mr. Levin continues to serve as a consultant and a member of the Committee of Explosive Materials in the Israeli Ministry of Industry.

Yuval Amsterdam - VP HLS department
Yuval Amsterdam is a former officer and Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team Leader in the Israel Defense Forces. He formerly served as an explosives expert at the Israel Security Agency, and for the past 10 years, has evaluated and certified most Explosives Detection Systems (EDS) and Trace Detection Systems (TDS) currently implemented. His former positions also include serving as Director of Business Development, Europe, at L3 Communication, SafeView and Director of Marketing and Sales, at TraceGuard Inc. Mr. Amsterdam holds both a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA.

Guy Zuri - X-Test VP Marketing & Sales

Guy Zuri is the former director of the Aerospace, Homeland Security & Life Science Department at the Israel Export Institute. He also served as the Security Detail Leader in the Dignitaries Protection Unit at the Israeli Security Agency (ISA).
Mr. Zuri holds a BA in Executive Business Management.

Nir Haimov – R&D Division Manager
Nir Haimov served as an R&D Officer in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for ten years, and is certified by the Israeli Ministry of Trade, Industry and Labor to plan and manage explosions. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree from the Technion, Technical Institute of Israel.

Nitzan Orgal – Civil Engineering Division Manager
Prior to his arrival at Tamar, Nitzan Orgal spent eight years at the Israeli Security Service and ten years in Shapir, a leading Israeli construction and civil engineering company, as the project manager for tunneling. Mr. Orgal holds a degree in technical civil engineering.
