Boaz Hayoun – Founder and CEO
Boaz Hayoun, a former officer in the Israel Defense Force's Combat Engineering Corps, accumulated vast experience in quarrying and in the use of commercial explosives during his military service. Mr. Hayoun founded Tamar in 1998 with the aim of providing first-class services in the field of explosives to clients in Israel and worldwide. Over the last 15 years he has led the company to meet its initial goals, and to expand into the diverse group of companies that comprise Tamar today, each of which works alone and synergistically with its sister companies to provide an ever-increasing range of offerings to clients in the security and defense industries.
Eng. Nir Haimov – Special Projects Director
Nir Haimov served as an R&D Officer (LTC) in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for ten years, and is certified by the Israeli Ministry of Labor to plan and manage explosions. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree from the Technion, Technical Institute of Israel.
